Weekend reports (4/19 – 4/21)

4/19 (Fri)

We stopped at Worthy Burger in Royalton on the way to the house. We had not been there in a long time, partially because we cannot leave K-dog in the car when the temperatures are low. This is a great in-between season to leave him and go enjoy ourselves (sorry buddy).

Towards the end of the drive, we encountered some intense rain. Because it’s mud-season, our dirt roads can be really bad, and almost dangerous to drive sometimes.  It turns out all 3 of the dirt roads were not as bad as I thought. However, we were carrying a very heavy load of flooring (NuCore Spalted Maple Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank – Cork Back) and every time we hit bumps, it made really hard sound.

4/20 (Sat)

  1. Assembled Gorilla Garden Cart. This is a big bad-ass cart. I am excited about it but Paul was careless (whatelse is new) and overloaded the cart, one of the tires went flat. I’m still excited though!
  2.  Raked leaves – exposed some greens under an inch of wet layers of leaves. Will have to continue tomorrow, again. Not nearly done.
  3. Mounted a ski rack – skis don’t hang very well, and snowboard is just impossible. It feels like I made a mistake. Will have to make it work by things around it.
  4. Removed the stupid plastic cable box thing outside of 1F Livingroom windows.
  5. Assisted Paul’s miter saw set up, took care of K-dog all day

4/21 (Sun)

  1. Continued with yard clearing. the layers are so thick and heavy and… A LOT. This yard is enormous.
  2.
